MAHG Second Annual Armenian Genocide Remembrance Event

The MAHG Second Annual Armenian Genocide featured a rededication of the cherry tree planted in remembrance of the Armenian Genocide on the Stockton Campus, as well as many Armenian cultural activities and food. Opening remarks were given by Peter and Carole Karabashian and Asbet and Nayiri Balanian. Following this, Dr. Henry Theriault of Worcester State University, the Keynote Speaker, gave a lecture entitled “2016 and Beyond: Resolving the Outstanding Harms of the Armenian Genocide and Other Cases with Long Legacies.”
