New! The MAHG Program is proud to announce the new Genocide Prevention Certificate Program. This program is the first of its kind in the world and is designed for professionals in many different fields as well as college graduates. The aim of the program is to offer rigorous instruction in the frameworks of and strategies for genocide prevention based on the ethical insights of liberal arts study.

Did you know the MAHG program was founded in 1998 as the first program of its kind in the country? Since then, students from around the world have joined our program. Through face-to-face and online courses taught by internationally renowned faculty, the MAHG program offers an in-depth interdisciplinary approach to understanding the dynamics of genocide.

The MAHG program has weekly events which include lecture series, career colloquia, exhibitions, study tours, and visits from renowned Holocaust and genocide scholars as well as visits from survivors of the Holocaust and other genocides.
